Kehilat Shalom Early Childhood Center is an early childhood educational facility for children ages two through four years old. The curriculum is planned for the age level of each group of children, with particular emphasis on the individual needs, interests and developmental stages of each child. The curriculum is designed to create an atmosphere where learning experiences will occur and where children take an active part in the learning process. Kehilat Shalom Early Childhood Center opened its doors as a Jewish preschool over 30 years ago. Located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, we are in the heart of Montgomery Village, just minutes from Germantown and Clarksburg in Montgomery County. Our preschool provides a high quality, safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment. Our integrated secular and Judaic curriculum fosters a love of learning as well as a positive Jewish identity. Our preschool is approved by the State of Mayland and has earned its commendation by the Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning.
